— Fruits & veggies supply your body with the sugars that it needs, as your cells literally live off of sugar! Now before you go running off to the cookie jar, just know that I do NOT mean refined sugar, as refined sugar is devoid of all nutrients. However, the sugar in fruits & vegetables contain with them all the minerals, enzymes and phytonutrients that your body uses as building blocks to a variety of metabolic processes in your body. In other words, refined sugars do not help your body at all (they even rob your body of nutrients, actually), whereas fruit sugars actually contribute to the functioning of all of your body's cells and processes!
— You also want to make sure to eat fruits & vegetables that are a good source of essential fatty acids, and these include avocados, coconuts, flaxseed & nuts. When you consume nuts please try to buy them in the shell as they will be a lot more fresh, or at the very least make sure they are raw. You may have to buy them online in order to ensure that they are actually raw.
— You also want to make sure to eat fruits & vegetables that are a good source of amino acids. However, you don't need as much amino acids / protein as you've been led to believe! You are already a fully built house. Why would you need to keep on bringing large building materials to your house, when you only need to spackle here and there? Yes, athletes and bodybuilders are going to need more, but even for them, they don't need that much!

hey Dude, just wondering, do we need to take ground flaxseed to get some nutrients like certain EFA's? Its a seed so Im assuming Raw foodists would consume it...
You mentioned that you have found 80-90 % of all nuts in stores are rancid. That's gross and horrible...but my question to you then, since we've been eating mostly rancid nuts our entire lives, how do you know they are rancid? I've heard that you should store nuts in the freezer so the oils don't go rancid...but I guess I never thought they could already be at that stage when I buy them. Thanks for your time!

alot of the Nuts in Health food stores out of the shell, have been Heated to different amounts, in other words, they have been Cooked and arent technically Raw

I was just thinking, how many people would pay an arm and a leg to get the second set of workers for their car, house, etc...but when it comes to food it just doesn't register! Your metaphor makes it very clear: every time you eat, you are making an individual choice to set either amazingly skilled labor or the opposite loose on your body: and it's OUR CHOICE! :) Yay for Dan! :)
