"Closer" - 11

I hope you guys haven't lost interest yet!!! I hope you guys like it!!! This entire story is dedicated to all my readers!!

"HEY NESSA!" She hugged her friend tightly
"How are you??" Vanessa asked as she hugged back
Troian pulls away and looks at her friend "Good, you look great. Can I come in?" Troain asked

Vanessa stepped aside letting her friend in, "Where's everyone?" Troian asked
"Um, I think in the living room." VAnessa closed the door behind her walking beside the tall black haired woman. " So, what's his name?" She asked Nessa who was looking down
"Nathan," She looks at Troian with a sincere smile "Nathan Paul Montez."

"That's a beautiful name. Does Paul know it's his son?" Troian asked her "No." SHe said
They hear loud laughter coming from the other side of the wall, Troian walks in the livingroom and sees everybody she once knew.
Everybody she cared for. "Troian!!!" All the girls said
Vanessa giggled as she saw Nina, Ariana, and Demi rush up to hug her.

Nessa walks upstairs and into Nathan's bedroom. She sees him in the crib sleeping peacefully. She smiles, then has a memory that she will cherish forever no matter what.

A FEW YEARS AGO...

"Nessa," The tall brunette boy whispered soft and slowly as he took hold of her hand
She looks up at him, "Yes"
"I have something to give you." He smiled as she looked at him a little confused "What is it?" She asked.
He pulls a beautiful locket out of his pocket, a beautiful antique locket that looked centuries old.
She gasped, "Turn around" He said, she turns around and grabs all her hair and puts it to one side, he gently places the necklace on her neck and locks it.

Slowly turning around, her smile becomes wider, "open it" he whispered
Nessa opens it and sees a picture of her and Paul kissing, and on the other side, it looks like the letters were engraved in it saying, 'I promise'
She looks up and smiles "It's beautiful Paul. I love it" She said. He smiles and hugs her tightly. "I promise that you'll always be safe with me." He kissed the top of her head gently and gave her a letter.
"Read it when we get married. Not now, not tomorrow, but when we are married." he said, She smiles "promise?" he asked she shook her head yes hugging him once more.

Vanessa walks into her bedroom. Looking around first then going into her closet, taking out a tiny box. She opens it and sees the locket. and then letter that's folded and old. She takes the box to her bed, opens the letter and starts reading it.
Tears forming in her eyes, she is touched by every word the letter is saying, after she is done. She looks at the locket and takes it to Nathans room. She sees Nathan still sleeping.

Vanessa sits down on the little couch and takes out the picture of her and Paul, and just puts a picture of Paul in it.
She places the locket at the corner of his crib and has it open so he can look in and see his father. The wonderful man he is,...or was.
She kisses Nathan and takes the baby moniter and walks downstairs with the group.

She walks downstairs seeing more people, well just her brothers.
"Yo, Vanessa let's play SPEED" Logan smiled
She walks over and sits down, "Get ready to lose my brother" She joked .
After a while of playing card games, Ian and Zac decide to barbecue.
"Oh, what are you guys making?" Nina asked "Food." Zac smirked "DOn't be a smart ass" She smiled while hitting his arm "Sorry."
Vanessa smiles but then hears the baby monitor. She quickly walks upstairs and picks up Nathan, he stops crying once he's in his mommy's arms. And all he does is just stare at her and smile as his tiny hand held onto her index finger tightly. Vanessa smiled and kissed his head.
"I love you Angel" she said.

"Hey Ian, can we talk?" Troian asked "Yeah sure." He said.
He walks to a private place with her, "WHat do you want ?" He asked her
"I want to apologize. I-"
"Look, i said we can be good friends. Troian what you did to me was messed up and I don't know if I can ever forgive you for that." Ian said
"Can we atleast try?" She asked hoping for a positive answer
"No, we can't. I'm sorry. I just can't" He said stuffing his hands in his pockets
"Then why are we friends?" Troian asked
"Isn't that what you wanted?" He asked
"No, it's what you said we can be. I wanted to fix it. But you never gave me a chance. Ian I know you better than any girl ever could. And I'll love you more than any other woman can." She said
"Troian, please don't do this." He said
Troian looks him in the eyes, and notices that he has the same look in his eyes as the same time he said he told her he loved her.
"You still care for me don't you?" Troian asked
Ian just stared at her, then walked away before he could admit his feelings to her.
SHe looks down then back up.
Feeling the same feeling she felt when she hurt him. Guilty.
