RAWKSHOW Intro

RAWKSHOW is a popculture audiovisual band performing in multimedia. Mixing music with video, the duo takes the dance experience to the next level. On the soundsphere, the show moves anywhere from retro electro, disco punk, breaks and house to hip hop, pulling from different stylistic eras of the last century. On the visual projection, a sonically synchronized stream of movies, music videos, TV shows, news, and cartoons. Knight rider meets the deceptacons, as Clinton raps with Missy Elliot.

The band, made up of Alan Cannistraro & Amit Kapadiya, creates custom instruments for live performance, debuting with the G-Love 5000; a glove-like instrument played via hand motion. The G-Love plays music and imagery through techniques like air-scratching, throwing sound, and sculpting visuals.

Originally from Toronto, and transported to San Francisco, RAWKSHOW is pioneering the next form of experience.
