Part 2 - Codeigniter Tutorial - Creating A Web Chat App using JQuery AJAX

In this Codeigniter Tutorial I create a little web based chat application. Users can chat with each other like they would in MSN or IRC etc within your web app. The purpose is to show the approach for creating the app and it also covers JQuery AJAX posting using JSON.

@Verbloten I think your tuts are pretty amazing. Only thing is that they are bit long. Worth to breakdown into 5 minute series, most successful tut are about that length. About thenewboston, he is super cool, but he is doing kind of live streaming now, most of the contents are created by other people, which is why I think you can be super cool for code igniter tut on his channel. But hey, doesn't matter, I check your channel for it anyway.
