I tryed this but did not work....

I found this:

go to command prompt start-run-cmd enter

type chkdsk/r drive path example chkdsk/r d:

press enter

this works for me.....it took all night bat it works so I'm happy I gat my 2 TB disk back to work :)

any idea how long this'd take? i'm starting to get a ray of hope. i'm now n the process of chkdsk-ing. hope this gets the reformat your disk error :)
