why did you get a mechanically valve? im getting my pulmonary valve replaced and i dont want a mechanically valve, i want a pigs valve . did you get to choose?

Kelly could you please tell me what were the symptoms you were experiencing prior to the procedure. I'm only 21 and experiencing some heart issues and I'm freaking out. I really don't wanna leave into the unknown yet :( I'm glad you're recovering well. God bless you.

I was wondering if you notice any benefits of the valve replacement? like less arrhythmia if you had any or higher stamina?

I'm 19 and I have aortic stenosis of the valve which I will eventually have to get replaced and I am terrified! Those after parts you were mentioning like the chest tube and wires scared me cause by the sounds of it I'd be awake while they were inside me. Hopefully I do not have to get it replaced anytime soon but I'd like to know what a healthy heart feels like as I'm too afraid to ever push myself during any physical activity because it takes long for my heart rate to recover.
