All you who say don't put your eggs in one basket mostly DO have your eggs in one basket if you have an IRA or a pension. What makes you think that we Madoff victims did anything different? We had no way of knowing Madoff wasn't legitimate. Some of us had family who began with Madoff 30 years ago. He was a respected guy, head of NASDAQ and all the other big investment banking institutions thought Madoff was a class act. Don't think you're so safe with Goldman-Sachs, etc. Better to trust no one
