Why Modern Warfare 3 Point Streak System is Flawed (44Patriots44)

Moral of the story is in a way it promotes camping rather than discouraging it. Reason being is simple. Bad players will try to get streaks by capping flags. Good players will know this and just kill them as they run towards the flags. What do you think?

I think the point streak system turned out pretty well. What they should get rid of is camping. Players should get booted for camping. Even if they don't do such a thing in the regular playlist, maybe they could have an anti-camping playlist that boots people who don't move around enough.

@Netherfist I'd like to add to that by saying that eventually you have people that will just give up on B and move on to cap a different flag, like C. What if this whole point streak system changes the way domination works. We all know that the B flag is usually the hardest to cap, so why would people funnel in to try and take it? If you know that capping flags would increase your pointstreak, wouldn't it be smarter to go for C instead? I think people will realize this eventually.

I think this whole back and forth about camping and rushing is nonsense. Ya'll need to get your heads out of your asses and look at the big picture here. A good player will camp when he needs to, and rush when he needs to. There is nothing wrong with sitting in a window that has a sight line over the objective. Furthermore, I think people will realize fairly quickly that running at B and dying repeatedly isn't going to get the flag capped for anyone. Eventually someone will wise up and move on.
