The truth is definitely painful. Slavery of Black people in U.S. has been in existence for more than 350 years. The first slave was brought here in 1600s. It doesn't matter that the country was established yet. Also, Blacks were considered 3/5th human and this IS in the U.S. Constitution. This is what Dred Scott v Sanford was all about. Chief Justice Taney ruled against Mr. Scott because he was "3/5th" human and chattel. Until this ruling is reversed, Blacks will be slaves in America.
