R/C airplane Test Stand? I haven't flown Ukie for 50 years until recently. I have never watched any Ukie videos on YouTube, but I expect someone probably has already done what I did today long ago.
If so, I never saw it. But for me to try it (using my own ideas), was the challenge. Here are the results of my first attempt at RC Control Line as I continue to mix History with Present Technology. I would have no problem having someone learn the elevator sensitivity and throttle, with this setup. It is kinda like my RC Helicopter test and training stand, in some of my previous videos.
Thanks again for Watching, your Loyalty, Subscribing, and Rating.

  • This is like one of those tethered helicopter setups....only, it's a plane! So there's a funfly in Corona eh? I practically live down the street from there, hopefully I can make it.

  • @NitroJunkie626 Thanks. If you can make it, I would like to meet you, so stop by. I am talking and flying from 1 to 2 PM.

  • boy, i would love to do something similar, to bad not many old 1/2 A kits still around . you would think that electric modified rc tethered planes would be a good starter for young pilots , and a hoot for us mid aged pilots, the rc industry is close minded to new ideas i guess

  • @tomview1 do you happen to know antyhing about stringed-airplanes form the 80's? i had an airplane that i've always wanted to rebuy... just some good memories from when i was a kid. Are they called "tethered" controlled? obviously not radio controlled...but i'm having a hard time finding out info on these toy planes from the 70's and 80's.

  • I want to see an R/C stunter!!

  • nice! I've thought about converting a plastic RTF C/L to R/C...

I notice in video, you have two lines, wouldn't it fly better with one?

  • make it rc with servos elevator rudder ailerons

  • Dude that is AWESOME! Nicely done :)

I was going to make an electric line control plane, but the RC servo is a great idea!

  • hey it looks like somebody flying a regular Control Line, but somebody stole the pilot LOL ! where's the pilot ?

  • can you review this 4-3Q2 Walkera Micro Brushless Metal Version w/ 2.4GHz 2402 Transmitter
