if you want to make that system better..keep everything you show in this video but throw away your MSR filter and replace it with a FirstNeed filter which removes VIRUSES...MSR cant do that! But I have a very similar system but wont use anything but a FirtsNeed..You dont need to add chemicals or boil your water with a FirstNeed system

Always love hearing/seeing your videos, partner. You've always got a lot of things to say that are pertinent and useful to us earth-walker types, lol. These gravity fed filters are a new innovative product that have really gotten popular these last couple of years. I'm still a pump man, though, because I need to draw liquid from sources, sometimes, but I can certainly appreciate the genius behind these filter designs. Thanks for a great review. what do you think of the filter two years later? Are you still liking it and using or did you move on?

@tritan1 2 years on I still like it. My only issue is that the more you use the filter, the harder it is to back flush it. The flow slows down a bit as the filter get used, but is still acceptable. I've had no problems with it. I've had plenty of water to drink and haven't been sick.
