Insektion | facade video projection | urban screening

For this special video installion, URBANSCREEN cast many diminuitvely tiny leading stars: the façade turns into an ant trail.
Nimbly, the convoy climbs and occupies the given architecture in order to cut the façade into pieces and undertake a precisely fitting "demolition job".
The resulting empty building lot directs the view to the nocturnal situation behind the setting and opens up a totally new perspective.

Für Insektion wurden viele winzige Hauptdarsteller für eine besondere Video-Installation gecastet: Die Fassade wird zur Ameisenstrasse. Flink erklimmt und besetzt die Kolonie die vorhandene Architektur, um die Fassade zu zerschneiden und passgenaue "Abriss-Arbeiten" vorzunehmen.
Die dadurch entstehende Baulücke weist den Blick auf die nächtliche Situation hinter der Kulisse und eröffnet eine ganz neue Perspektive.
