  • That's what I was going to do with this one. It's set up for the original horseshoe "floating power" mount that's attached to the water pump.

This one is completely built: new forged 10:1 pistons, balanced, reground and nitrited crank, stainless valves, port matched. It's a 56 truck engine bored to 57 specs.......325 cu.in.

I've got $7,000 invested in the engine. That's what you'll spend if you redo one of these. If you're interested, make me an offer

  • I was thinking of putting one of these in my '53 Dodge pickup.

  • What's the cid on that? It's funny to think that of that engine coming out of a huge old chrysler that a middle aged guy wearing a suit might have driven.

  • wow thats fucking sick dude

  • Friend of mine had a '57 Imperial he wanted to take the 392 hemi and cast iron automatic into my '53 Henry J... I declined, I thought it would make the nose drag the ground :P I ended up putting in a 215 Oldsmobile aluminum motor in. 215 cid putting out 200 HP from the factory, The same motor dies sold to Rover. Good motor unless you ran it loow on water. I had to have one of the combustion chambers welded up and a new exaust seat on one of the end cylinders. It melted around the exaust.

  • Is that out of a Desoto or Imperial? Its so cool..I love it!

  • Buick engines are pretty solid too. Like the famous 3.5 V8 Rover engine. Its up there near the Hemi as one of the best engines made. Also another one of my fav's is the Audi 4.2 V8 engine. Really nice smooth unit.

  • wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
