Loch Ness, or Nessie as she is reffered to in the coaster world, was built in 1978 and was the first coaster with interlocking loops. It's now the only one with that feature as the Orient Express at Worlds of Fun was destroyed to make room for another coaster. BGE also holds the destiction of hosting ACE's (American Coaster Enthusiasts) first Coaster Con in that sam year and They were given Exclusive Ride Time (ERT) on Nessie.
