  • I am sorry, but as one of the hardest core harry potter fans, I must say that christopher columbus did the best job on the harry potter movies. David yates is alright, I just really wish he wouldnt cut sooooo much out. I felt as though Order of the phoenix was rather rushed and frantic.

  • this is ridiculous! i greatly enjoyed the order of the phoenix and now i know why. david yates directed it and he also made the half-blood prince into a really enjoyable movie because of how he manages to bring out the characters' personalities. well anyway. david yates rules :)

  • so short!

  • MrDan644, I completely disagree with you! The 5th and 6th ones are my favourites! And yes, I've read the books. I don't care about every little detail being left out in the films. As long as the main storyline is in there, I'm fine with it, and as long as the films are good, I'm happy. And they are good. So I'm quite satisfied. Can't wait for DH 1 and 2! :D

  • Art, what art? 'Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix" was a pile of shit that David Yates directed! I just hated how it didn't follow the book and how he threw in his own material. If you ask me David Yates took a huge shit on the movie, pissed on it, raped it, and then handed it to us to watch! And don't get me started on the Half Blood Prince because he fucked that one up even worse!

  • If it weren't for the lack of mob mentality, there would be an angry mob of Potter fans chasing Mr. Yates down Sunset Boulevard.

  • I Cannot Believe How Many People Dred This Movie. I Am A Big Harry Potter Fan And They're THe Only Books I Read Other Than The Twilight Books. But All In All I'm Fully Behind This Movie And David Yates Because I Appreciate The Art Of Film.

  • man from the street. Harry leave the book in the room because his friends tell him to do so. This never happens. That's an amazing change in his personality and his points of view. There were scenes that were not needed at all. Aragog was a laugh, haha! The pain of Hagrid in that scenes had to be almost touchable, something that never happen. Besides I have spiders of that size in my bedroom and it's an "acromantula" -.-'

  • Bring out the characters' personalities?!! Dude, he's changing all of them!! Dumbledore ran away in the Order of Phoenix instead of fighting against all of them in his officine! For Godness sake, that's a proff of weakness and cowardy that I can't stand for. In the book he fight all of them and leave through the main door. Dumbledore is another person in the book than in the movie. It's pretty easy to act like Richard Harris, for example, is not impossible. I mean, is Michael Gambon not an old

  • Oh And I Think It Could Be In The Running For Best Picture Because Its A Great Movie. I Don't Think The Academy Takes It Into Account Of How Much The Movie Is Different From The Book.

  • David Yates Wants To Stay True To The Books As Much As Possible That He's Making The Deathly Hallows Into Two Parts Instead Of Just One 3 Hour Movie So He Doesn't Leave Out Any Important Details In The Movie Translation Of The Book. David Yates Rules.
