Actually, that really had nothing to do with it. Sure, he was a demented individual, but he was determined to change all of that; however, when he found out that Elle had lied to him about his parents, and when she flinched when he touched her on the beach, turned him back to his bad ways. He killed her because she lied, not because he was crazy.

To arbitor365 and zaclove06: Sylar didn't kill Elle for no reason. He was extremely demented. His mother made him feel worthless, his foster father abandoned him, and his birth father sold him for money and then murdered his birth mother right in front of him! That kind of childhood trauma could turn Mr. Rogers into freaking Ted Bundy. He killed people and stole their powers because the calm, unemotional analytical mindset he needed to do it allowed him to ignore all his issues.

Excellent. Bravo! Normally, I wouldn't think to connect Just Like You with Sylar and Elle's extremely dysfunctional romance, but you made it work. Changing the color of Elle and Sylar's lightning meshed very nicely with the song.
