You're quite right Lou. I find so much recorded music is oppressively overproduced these days. All I want from an album is the purity of the singer and the song, and you've touchingly achieved this with One Good Thing. So glad you found your way out of the valley, bless you.

Simply amazing! It's definitely up there with the likes of Drake. I love it so much.

Listening to a promo copy of album One Good Thing. Agree with visper, this is proper music. & I have ordered a vinyl copy. Will also be @ the Coventry gig in April. This album reminded me of 5 Leaves Left, Nick Drake & this wonderful film confirmed that. Thanks Lou.
This album is getting plays on my radio show on 103 The Eye.

What I am impressed by are the vocal risks that Lou Rhodes seems to take on this new album...I am hearing her use a range I have not heard before...really reminiscent of early Joni Mitchell - her best period. Ms. Rhodes continues to grow, deepen - become more "texturized" This California Boy LOVES her work!

We would have welcomed you in the Mountians of California...
I can't find the words - real music these days, I find, is so hard to come by. SO much production, so much glitter. Lou - I've really been looking forward to this album (as you know) and I can't wait to have my own copy (Just noticed you're doing a Vinyl pressing?! ..Died and gone to heaven) Can think of nothing better than popping out with camera and guitar for a cuppa... a sing and a photo or two... awesome house... awesome musician... thanks for sharing! - Sime
