  • is hanging drywall hard and is it hrd to learn?and where can you learn how to hang.tape and float drywall?

  • I have a number of drywall videos that you can look for that provide tips on how tape and mud drywall. In terms of hanging drywall, it takes a couple of pairs of hands and some basic skills for cutting drywall. Again, look for some videos on line for more detail.

  • Couldnt a person just put glue behind the tape that was loose and push it back down?

  • It won't last very long.

  • Drywall seams separate from the wall many times because the paper was embedded in compound that was too dry. The paper needs moisture to adhere correctly. When compound is applied to the wall and then the tape embedded, the mud surface drys out before the tape can adhere. The TapeBuddy machine applies the compound directly to the tape so the tape has the moisture needs It applies an even coat of mud & embeds flat. TapeBuddy machines will help you with your project.

  • i've seen the tape come up before because some of these contractors want to get the job done quickly so they use tape guns that really thin the mud out.
