Totally not the story. Where does a girl come in? Akakki doesn't look for romance, he needs to receive empathy and have his human condition fulfilled. The only romance is his new coat.

I saw this at the Edinburgh Festival this week. It was utterly gobsmacking! The visual impact of the whole thing pinned your eyes to the stage. The music and strange mix of languages did nothing less but maximise the storyline rather than detract.
Watching this made me wonder why so many film makers now use CGI when good choreography, lighting and camera angle would be so much more appealing.

I went to watch this last night and enjoyed myself so much I just had to write something.
The show was visually stunning and had me laughing out loud a lot and in despair at times. An everyman story which most will be able to relate too and enjoy all the more. The music was excellent and the performers great. Videos don't do it justice but Amit Lahav's video is a little longer. (just look in the related videos section)
A great way to spend an hour ten :)
