Sorry, but myself, and those others who know and care, can not submit to Benedict XVI, his church, and the doctrines they teach which include distribution of sacraments to non-catholics, calling the god of islam the true God, the protestant liturgy of the novus ordo, and the rest of it. Self-proclaimed is not relevant, because every Pope self-proclaims himself Pope, if he didn't self-proclaim himself Pope, he would not believe himself Pope which would be necessary for salvation to believe that you are Pope if you really are. Moreover, if this man believes that His Holiness was self-proclaimed as in a mystical appointment, it would again show a lack of knowledge on the subject, and rash judgement. Rash, rash, rash.
