Splatterhouse 2 Review

The long awaited review of Splatterhouse 2, for the Sega 16-bit console is here .... finally. My apologies to everyone who requested this video, not least of all Midtown001 who must have asked me where the review was on about 10 separate occasions. This is the most cursed review of all time. Twice in the past when trying to record Splatterhouse, the audio/video playback had issues. The next time I went to review the game, I fell asleep just beforehand. This time the controls for the emulator reset themself when I went to play, hence the angry outburst at the start of the video when I realised nothing was working. Finally, after a long time encoding the video for Youtube playback, the final video came out a garbled mess. So I had to re-encode it again.

The irony of it all is, the effort wasn't worth it. All you get is a needlessly frustrated review as my patience had been worn down by this stage. The game itself is one not without its fans, and I quite enjoyed the first game in the series truth be told, yet this one looks and plays almost exactly the same, making it a soulless sequel, which is the sort of thing that annoys me. I believe they made a Splatterhouse 3, which is another case of milking that cash cow until there's nothing left but a few dry old teats and some disgruntled consumers.

your review is shitty and im not just saying that beacuse i like the game this is a classic beat em up not a fancy new gen game you dumb shit still wondering why there we only a couple of movements? i dont think someone who can barely handle the equipment to play the fuking thing or die less then 50 times playing the out the first level should be reviewing shit you dint even hate the game right you hated the first level you stupid annoying sounding shit

@PopetMan The first level is as tedious as the next, and the next and the next. It was quite good fun in the original Splatterhouse, but by number 2 it samey old bollocks.
