Onboard footage from Grimsby Town station to Cleethorpes station, North East Lincolnshire.
Saturday 18th December 2010.
Loco featured: West Coast Railway Company Class 47 No. 47270 "Swift".
A front window view behind WCRC's BR Blue Class 47, the loco powers out of Grimsby Town station, crossing Garden Street level crossing & passing the long disused Signalbox. Next is Pasture Street level crossing & Signalbox (this signalbox controls the whole section of line between Littlefield Lane level crossing and Cleethorpes station), passing Asda shortly afterwards on the right notes the location of the passing loop on the single line between Grimsby Town & Grimsby Docks. Next station passing is Grimsby Docks, followed immediately afterwards by the tight Fish Dock Road curve, and then Fish Dock Road level crossing itself. Winding through Grimsby Docks, the loco takes power as the linespeed increases, and then New Clee station is passed, as 47270 powers up to as near as 60mph as possible on this section, then the brakes come on as the train nears Cleethorpes station, arriving at Platform 3.

@meld5503 I certainly did! It was worth the end result, though.
