It Blew me out of my bed, i lived about 1/2 mile away from it.

I lived about 2 miles away from Buncefield! I would never forget it. It was terrible.

i lived across the road from the thing.. blew half of our house up! we were there literally 2 mins after it happened standing like 200ft from it while the other tanks started going up, some seriously scary shit! the bonus was, i got paid to do some filming for the news, and got a free hotel room for a couple of days.. best weekend EVER!
