I was 'told' when it would be leaving Southend, and worked out roughly when it would be at Benfleet. Not sure what time the return working is, but if you check on the internet, I simply typed in 'steam train' and Southend Central 31st August, and 'google' did the rest. The return working will be 'after dark', and, due to my work, after my bed time!

@harryfaber Is there a timetable for when this train will appear? How did you find out that it was going past Benfleet today? I only managed to get by chance, whilst waiting for another train.

@CharenceWong Go to uksteam.info - click on steam tours - click on the top link for the 2011 tour programme, and you'll see EVERY mainline steam tour, with full timings when they are released (usually a few weeks in advance).
