he drew it in pencils and traced it digitally so he could get the "grey pencil" color into "black" color. I'm sure that comics inkers are also tracers, huh? And I did not insult you. Please try to keep the same level of respect.

The method of speed DRAWING is mostly like comics. You make the sketch in pencils, then scan the drawing, open it in Photoshop and trace the pencils so the line can be exactly black (in comics it's called "Inking") and then add the colours. He traced his own work, so I'm afraid you're not the genius you thought you are ;)
