THIS HURTS!
What hurts...: Elbow and forarm.

How you hurt it...: Not sure, maybe carrying armloads of heavy clothing for long distances, setting up tradeshow,lifting heavy objects.

When you hurt it...: 4 months ago.

Your pain level (1 is low, 10 is high pain): 9.

Your age and overall health...: 52 good health.

Any other information you feel is relevant...: Loss of strength in arm and hand. Lifting objects with injured arm impossible. Painful when front of elbow is bumped. Sometimes burning sensation for no reason when arm is at rest. Starts in outside front of elbow area and radiates down to the hand. Cannot bear any wieght when pressing down on this arm, very painful.

YOUR INJURY COULD BE...

Tennis Elbow

REHAB YOUR INJURY BY...

Stretching: Straighten your elbow and pull your hand straight down. Hold the stretch for 15 seconds and release - do this 3 times. Go to the point of pain and not beyond - more is not necessarily better. Make sure you stretch both directions.

Massage: Massage straight down and across the tendons that are sore in your elbow area. Use circular motions, apply deep pressure along the tendons and as it becomes less sore you may go across the tendons. You can do this yourself or have someone else do it for you. Massage all the way down to where you feel your pain. Use lotion to reduce 'sticking' on your skin. The pain should be less. If it is not, then you may be applying too much pressure.

Icing: 15 minutes for 2 to 3 times per day, with at least one hour in-between.

  • I can't straighten my arm, but I have tennis elbow. Should I try to force my arm to straighten?

  • i hurt my elbow area doing tricep curls with heavy weight, have you dealt with this before, I think I have tennis elbow symptoms the pain is on the outer part of my elbow, I havent been able to work out with weights for over 3 months

  • What if you hurt on the inside of the elbow? I was doing back at the gym (this is not my first time at the gym) bentover rows 245 bls 5 sets then 100 lb dumbells for 3 sets of 10 . the next day was killer left arm (im right handed). it has power most of the way till i get to sipping a cup of coffee (its that last 3-5 inches) sharp pain. please help thanks in advance.   • @9tails23 obvious your non athletics ass couldnt make the team and received rejection many times hahaha fucking LOSER haha.....I made the team my first try cause im so cool did you realize less than 5% of the school city or state population fucks more than 93% of the hottest female population I had easy access to the finest chicks that didnt even go to my school so if you transfered becaused you gets no pussy Ill be fucking the hot chiicks at that school too fing loser
