@jmcsurfer805 even if they did get 70 feet you are not gonna go out for that so why the fuck does it matter? just everyone chill the fuck out. it doesnt matter both cali and nyc have good and bad days i surf puerto rico and new york and new york can get nice thick overhead barrels sometimes and even though its cold it just makes the experience that much more interesting

@Fshrguy7 mavericks is the only place in cali where you get BIG waves. maybe the waves there are a couple of feet bigger on average, but that makes no difference. anyway its a differnt ocean

if waves in cali are a joke why do dane reynolds and rob machado and alot of other surfers live there rather than the east coast. we also have mavericks which can pump 70 foot waves on a good swell

@Fshrguy7 EH! I really disagree. The waves are just less consistent but then again im in Florida. I think maybe up north east might be more consistent. Do you ever look at surfline? I've seen new jersey double over head with some nasty tubes. Even down here in Florida we get some good over head days..
