Here is a battle against ReeceBenlier, long-time friend and rival of mine from Youtube. Its his birthday and we haven't battled in a long while, so I decide to give him one. Well, as you can see, the look of this battle is quite the bit different than previous battles... I've decided to give this Pokemon video layout fad a try. Actually, I kind of like it. The one I designed is simple but effective, at least its supposed to be. I still make the battle part of the video very large (I hate it how some people make the battle part of the video so small). I also decided not to include my face while narrating like other Youtubers have (I don't know why you need to see my face when there is a battle to watch!). Instead, I include a remaining Pokemon scoreboard to the left to help aid viewers to the current score of the match, and what Pokemon we know each-other has remaining. Anyway, leave a comment about some feedback about my new layout. Do you like it? Should I continue to do this in the future? Any suggestions to improve this layout?

  • Hi! Love your vids but I have a question: Do you / other competitive battlers go through the whole thing of breeding and EV-training every pokemon, or do you use some sort of hacks for that? If every pokemon is "Handmade" that sure demands a lot of time.

  • @steaktastebetterpill

Most Youtube battlers use a program called Pokesav (or Pokegen) to make Pokemon. This is a Pokemon savefile editor.

Like PowerHeal said, probability is not calculated using addition, it is calculated with multiplication (At least when dealing with the chances of both events occuring).

    Chance of hitting = Chance of not being paralyzed (actually 75%) AND not being flinched (40%) = .75 * .4 = .3, or 30%.
