do you get a pit team for free at silverstone..?

Bob, not sure what you mean. The pit crew we had was part of the team who I drove for, we, as pay drivers, effectively pay for them. You can walk round the pits pre-race for free (in with your ticket) but only those with TEAM tabards are allowed on the pit wall during the race. However, everyone is allowed on the pit wall for the finish (or rather there are that many that they can't be stopped).
