This short video introduces quickly how the Pinewood Derby works.
Background: The Pinewood Derby is a very popular activity in Scouting. The purpose of which is to give a parent and a child an opportunity to make a car, race it down a track, and see how well they do as a team. It's not so much how fast the cars run as the fun time the parent/child team share.
The Tidewater Council produced this video with WVEC Channel 13 Sports Director Scott Cash. It was filmed in the Kempsville District and we thank all the volunteers that came out for the night.
