a video art project executed about 5 years ago -- you know those CDs of the soft sounds of the sea cresting onto the shores of a sandy beach? well, they're nice and relaxing, but the problem with them is that they're always pre-mixed with either classical orchestra music, or else it's new age tubular bells. not exactly everybody's favourite jams! and besides, what do you really end up listening to when you actually go down to the beach? you go to the water, you listen to island music; it's Bob Marley that's being played, Peter Tosh booming out speakers. So I decided to mix down twenty of my favourite BMW tracks with the "relaxation collection", then render out an hour of animated ocean! forget fractals, this is the ultimate trip-out...
