On-Line Interactive Virtual Environment (OLIVE™) is a powerful, dynamic software platform for development and deployment of customized, private, secure virtual worlds where users collaborate, plan, train, rehearse and operate over computer networks using a video game-like 3-D user interface.

This video shows a demonstration of using a virtual world for training police officers and paramedics to handle different events. All of the avatars are played by real people. With OLIVE, remote users receive instructor-led, web-based, or Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM)-compliant training and participate in 3-D learning scenarios.
