The map obtainable in Icicle Lodge shows neither items, nor the # of screens between each crossroads However, it shows the crossroads & their relative positions After that, all that is required is patience and this checklist : Alexander-touch the Hot Springs, kill the witch Added Cut-nearby NW-SE path All materia-center of 'markers in a snowstorm' map Safety Bit-per this vid Elixir-glitched, possible to get up to 99 Potion Mind Source-north of 'snowy trees' map Safety Bit Potion Mind Source

this glacier is one of the worst places in all FF series.

i went to get the alexander materia and i collapsed seconds before i got into the cave. Man what bad luck!

You forgot the infinite Elixirs, and the Source (Magic, IIRC) in the trees.

btw anyone with at least a green chocobo can go back into.. the great glacier to get your missed materia ^_^
