i cant get past the prepare stage. i have followed the steps but when i get to the prees back key and put in usb cable, it dosnt go past the bit. and the progrm is perfectly fine. help?

@sonyericssonsupport yeah sure, give me my money back, I can't believe you're telling me this, your company should give me a better phone, I wasted my money on this phone, and I can't do anything cause everything requires an android 2.1 or better. so thank you for NOTHING.

@KonstantinosRoubas If the phone is sent to our service center I'm sure it would be fixed (in the case the USB port is indeed defective) so that you don't have this issue anymore . Try to contact your local Sony support center for instructions on what to do to get the phone evaluated. -Josh

@Mrbgatooo Unfortunately that update wasn't made available for the particular handset that you have. I'd suggest maybe get a different phone then. -Josh
