@RMR12100 Holden is and has been a GM owned company since 1931. The brand new Camaro is based on this structure. It may not have been assembled in America but it is an American company-based vehicle. Not like a Toyota or BMW etc...

@Elcamino540 I am partial to American Muscle as well, however the GTO might as well be an import since GM took the Australian Holden Monaro and simply put a GTO badge on it for sale in US. This is why purists didnt like it and one of the reasons its sales were so weak (Monaro body). Still...a corvette engine makes it okay in my eyes.

@B70Valkyrie Yeah, only thing I can think is the british were concerned about fuel economy so opted for the taller geared transmission. I have a pair of em, a 95 LT1 and 02 LS1. I haven't put any vids up cause both are just bolt on cars atm and aren't really impressive. I plan on a cam in the LS1 over the winter so that should give me some motivation to get some footage this spring lol.

@Feenyxxx95 seems weird that GM would have the M12 in the HSV and Pontiac, then the M6 in the VXR... Especially when the VXR is otherwise an HSV GTO with Vauxhall badges. What sorta trans am have you got? Post some vids!
