First off, peace to all Zep fans and may Mr. Ertegun and Mr. Bonham rest in peace.

This is a clip of No Quarter from the superb performance by the best rock band ever. I hope they release this full show on DVD and CD.

@Magicquickfingers there is certainly an art to using efx tastefully . Page was great at creating moods and sounds . I love his work on those Death Wish movies , particularly the film score . Page should make sound efx for films if he is not going to play live anymore , which apparently he is not

Look.... Page is the sloppiest live guitarist....and my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ! He's Jimmy freakin' Page. NO ONE can play like him when it comes to 20 minute long "No Quarters" and "Dazed and Confused" etc etc. I have MANY bootlegs... Page is "best"... but "favorite". It's all about "style" of playing.

Oh, yeah, he writes stuff too.  heheheh !

Respond to this video... I would be in line too if they toured, but I get why Plant is reluctant to do it. He's trying to perform songs that weren't easy to sing on tour in his 20's. Look what happened to The Who. Daltrey's voice couldn't hold up night after night.

@Magicquickfingers Since I've been loving you has no effects, and it it still sounds great to me. He definitely isn't the best technical player out there, but he's one that most can identify after a few notes.

@valleysofneptune I play guitar and what bothers me is how little people take into account that the effects he used greatly shaped his sound and gave him an ability to just make noise when he wasnt playing particualry well, i have the same effects and gear and i can make the same noises that he makes on machine gun. He was a good player but he relied heavily on effects and his stage persona. He was one of the best but not the best.
