@tecsined In regards to NFC tablets, there are is not much available today. There should be Sharp RW-T107, and TazPad by TazTag. Not sure if any of these are actually available for delivery today. Your better option may be to just get an Android NFC smartphone (wwwDOTnfcrumorsDOTcom/nfc-phones-list/), and start the development on one of these units which are readily available. You should be able to migrate your app relatively easily to an Android tablet once they become available.

@tecsined The NFC Windows 8 tablet from Samsung has only been available for special Microsoft events and some development. It is still not entirely clear when this device will be officially launched. Some rumors say that it will be summer 2012.
