@Reddin1153 It's the same deal, you sassenach backing dog.

@MrParcelForce Although this took place in the 20th century, you could take a little comfort in the fact that most nations have committed similar sins.
-
@PATRICKEIRE I should have been more specific in my comment, I was not referring to the "Provo's" as terrorists (not as a whole anyway) but I was talking about the so-called "Real" IRA and any other current IRA's that are still active.

@Reddin1153 Those people u class as terriorst carried out the very same actions as the patriots did in 1916 and the war of independence,,no diff what so ever only in the fact they done it 50 years later so please learn the REAL history of ireland,,i suggest u read the bobby sands diary he wrote while on hunger strike before he gave his life and then tell me that those people were terriorsts,,

The conversation in the prison between Murphy and Cunningham on the subject of James Connolly and financial imperialism has never been more relevent. Fuck Pearse (the preening, closet-case crypto fascist) and screw that humourless Catholic stooge DeValera: Connolly was the true revolutionary and patriot who makes me proud to be Irish.

I'm here from TV tropes to. I took the dare to see all the hateful (and most likely biased) comments on both sides.

It's a shame that the legacy of the IRA has been tarnished by the scumbag terrorists in the North

what are you talking about? most Irish people are ASHAMED of the IRA, and those who are not should be. IM pure Irish, so I know what Im talking about. yes, we have suffered hundereds of years of discrimination and pain from the british in the past. I find that heart breaking. but this is all in the past. the IRA nowdays are just spoiling for a fight when there is none to be had. they THINK they repersent the Irish people, but I'd say 98% are ashamed and embaressed of them.
I'm ashamed to be British after seeing this
