Rainbow's easy Filipino sautéing with the main character, Chayote! Or Sayote in Filipino. Vegetarians, use fish sauce for more Asian flavor, optional. Vegans use seaweed extract in replacement of fish sauce, recipe on my previous, Sinigang video. You can also use this exact same recipe minus the chayote and replace with upo, or fuzzy squash. Or, you can minus the chayote and use with turnip greens, mustard greens, mustasa, or sitaw the long Chinese string beans. You get the picture, same base or supporting characters, different lead character. Let's have fun!

  • @Tomken8d2 same ol' hustle and grind

  • That looks good but I'd add black or red beans,

lots of hot spices, maybe some hot peppers

and forgive me, but I'd add shrimp too. :)

I never cooked with fish sauce.

  • @ehabtouch

    "Same old" is usually good.

Excitement is for the amusement park.

We can really do without it IRL. :))

  • @ehabtouch

    Nothing really.

    Things are boring and uneventful.

I prefer it that way. :)

    How about you?

  • I cook this the same way with squash but I peel the squash and I put pork.

  • @ehabtouch

    I don't cook anymore because I'm disabled.

    I'm happy though!! :))
