@odalV Chevy V6's make over 300 hp...the big motors make anywhere from 426 to 638 HP..

The lotus is ridiculously fast. The engine is from a Celica, producing at least 220hp and the car weighs as much as a hefty bike. its 0-60 time has to be in the low 3 sec range. Forget AMG, this thing would smoke an Enzo.

u guys realise the exige s has about 220hp and weighs 2000 lbs, that mercedes weighs twice as much, 1/4 mile the exige would rape, on the freeway from a roll is a different story, but the elise is made for track, and it has a toyota engine, reliable as shit, what more can u want.

idk man i have my doubts about this race , even if the sl 55 got a bad start , the torque would have made the sl start to gain ground way earlier than it did , this car moves like a sl 500 , and even though the lotus is loud there is no evidence of that spitfire amg exhaust note , if that is a 55 the driver let off the gas , but im pretty sure thats a sl 500

Of course on paper the SL55 is quicker. 5,5 V8 vs 1,8 inline 4... and it can almost keep up even on paper.
