This video (which is actual footage of Justin Peters giving a seminar called, "A Call for Discernment") is a fair, comprehensive, biblical critique of the modern Word of Faith movement. Word of Faith theology (WoF) dominates Christian satellite and cable television and is making alarming inroads into our churches. This seminar contains dozens of audio and video clips (primarily the latter) of various WoF leaders such as Benny Hinn, Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, Jessie Duplantis, Creflo Dollar, etc. incorporated into a PowerPoint format. This format allows people to see and hear for themselves what these individuals are actually teaching. Everything then is, in turn, balanced with Scripture.

I sure appreciated this video series. We temporarily got caught up in prosperity movement, and thank God, he opened our eyes to the heresy being taught. Justin's seminar was probably the most profound and real teaching against the Word of Faith movement.

God still heals, but your faith doesnt force God s hand to obey the Christian.

If God heals at the command of His people, then why arent the faith healers clearing out the hositials with clean bills of health on just faith alone?

Even Fred Price's wife received treatmen for cancer from oncologists. God heals according to His will and sometimes His will is that you will be healed in the life to come.

Jesus mentioned faith because we should believe that God can heal you, but whether it's His will or not is up to Him. It's God's will that we live abundantly(as in material wealth)? Where is that in the bible. Tell that to the Afghani or Iranian Christians. God promised to provide our needs, not everybody is meant to be wealthy. God gives us an abundance of grace, peace and joy in just knowing Him, has nothing to do with material items.

Concerning the comment on "The Thorn On The Flesh" on the Apostle Paul. Look it up in Galatians. He CLEARLY states "You would of given me your own EYES".

Please look it up.

When Paul wrote this Letter, many years had gone by, for this is considered the first letter to D Gentiles. It was a Harsh, Godly EXHORTATION to the Gentiles, for they had gone back to the Pagan festivities mixed with Christianity, and he warn them not to go back to be Slaves of their practices N warns them about D O.Law.

This is so complex. Because when Jesus healed He ALWAYS mentioned the word faith. But the persons faith. I personally think repentance and salvation should be preached first. Like Paul he preached repentance and salvation. The healings are there to show that the Word of God is truth. When Jesus mentioned that in the Bible He said: "Believe me at least because i do the works of my Father". I do believe is Gods will for us to live abundantly. Healthy and with no lack(doesnt mean rich).

Faith people ..there is NO where in the bible that tells us to speak things in to existance....God Can still heal....yes,,,but u dont control GOD!!....Benny Hinn is a phony,period,u will see....there is no formula....Its HE who calls those things that be not as though they were....i fell for the faith lies too at first...the faith aof a mustard seed can move mountains...according to HIS will..Fred Price wife went to the doc`s for her cancer,no confession did it..study New Age Movement
