This video illustrates the IFAK (individual first aid kit) I carry on my LBE system while I'm shooting. This kit has a full trauma/bloodstopper system, with surgical abilities, along with a general level 1 first aid system. I also carry this kit (slightly modified) while I am backpacking and climbing. It isn't very big and it isn't too heavy and it will save a life. A must have tool.

  • If I may suggest is a wider tourniquet you will cause more damage to tissue with that thin of a device

  • By all means, I appreciate the suggestions.

  • all u need is a splint and your ready 2 go

    :)

  • that is an outstanding rig!!!! i'm a nurse and I've seen professional kits far short of that. more pain meds. upgrade the triangle bandage (old bed sheet) with tongue depressors (5 in duct tape) for a tourniquet. a thin band like that will cause severe skin trauma and possibly vascular damage. 4-5 ft duct tape can help make improvised splints. a chest seal and airway tube might be upgrade (need training). your surgical kit is really great for such a small kit. pleasure to watch thanx!!!!

  • Thank you for this vid. Do you think you could put together a list of items in the kit? I've built something similar, BUT I know I'm missing something. Thanks.

  • @moomee237 Omg lol sorry used to Canada were you can't carry a gun on you and guns are like kept in safes under lock and key!
