Here's is a quick video where I avoided running over my friends head. We we're doing our last session at Laguna Seca and his tires were cold. We were okay but I did wind up having a very large bruise on my right leg and a minor sprained ankle due to the incident.

  • no what he should have done is held his line and not target fixated. Crashes go to the outside...had he held his line he wouldn't have even been involved.

  • Nice job not running over your friend.

  • Was this at a CLASS day? The rider at 0:29 to the far left looks like he has CLASS instructor leathers on.

  • @unknownwizdom i think you'll find he's right mate, i don't race and i recently had my bike stolen so no chance of that happening soon, but you have to keep your mind on the line not the target, if you fixate you automatically head towards it and so you will be involved.. ask/watch any interview with a professional racer and they will say the same thing about it if the question is raised...

  • That sucks!

  • @unknownwizdom well racing motorcycles helps...but again...what do I know

  • @skater15153 what do you know your a skater

  • I got in a wreck in the same spot a few years ago... Gran Turismo 3... never forget it lol

  • @dazzlerby haha well since I race and I'm assuming you don't I'm going to go ahead and say I know a bit more about this than you do. If you get sucked into target fixation you wind up being involved. Had he held his line he would have continued through the corner instead of doing a stoppie onto his face. If you notice the crash moved quite quickly to the outside and AWAY from the race line. But what do I and everyone else that races know right?????

  • @skater15153 if he'd held his line he would have broke his friends arm, maybe worse, perfect evasive action taken

  • Were you allowed to race again after the crash or did they remove you for the rest of the season?

  • @tdneVmo hahah exactly!
