Studio report from the forthcoming David Readman solo album. 31.08
A solo work from the main man and singer of PINK CREAM 69. Well, if you were interested in listening to one here it is. It may surprise a few but the rest of you who follow bands work won't get disappointed or estranged. The album shows his love for late days WHITESNAKE and at some point Readman sings better then Coverdale can in the present time. Still at some other point like the "Over the ocean" a rockier tendency comes out, a little TESLA good old rocking feeling. In general the album is a melodic well crafted album, with some mid tempo songs, polished in the vein of DEF LEPPARD, WHITESNAKE with even some contemporary hints from bands like HIM, listen to the opener "Without you" to get an idea. The main thing is that it has a good clear production, needed for albums at this genre and gives a nice time to the listener. It is definitely not so hard as the late PINK CREAM but has the personal touch of a great vocalist David Readman, it is more diverse and has the clarity that only the good US FM albums can show. A real winner.

great song just like music should be thats were im havingtrouble i want to produce music like this im 15 years old from england/liverpool and i play guitar ive been in battle of the bands we got to the final but it was doing cover songs so we never won but i want to produce my own music just like the good old 80s even tho i wernt born then lol any tips on how i can write songs like this i aint got a clue where to start thanks
