Desert Storm 7/10

Documentary of the first Gulf War in 1991. This is made in the 90's before the current crisis in Iraq started. These are the parts 2 and 3 of the four part series. I don't have the first part, fourth i got on some VHS, I'll try to find and upload it on weekend. Unfortunately the tape run out few minutes before the end on part 3 and the audio quality is a bit bad.

Saddam had oil fields within Iraq, but as you might know.. he committed murders to his people by unconventional means.. gas and chemical (kill the curds) so, he couldn't sell his oil and his economy almost failed.. so he had to eliminate his main composition (Kuwait) so he would be able to sell oil without worrying the sanctions =\ when he realized he cannot keep those oil wells... i guess he though he rather destroy them then let his enemy's take them.. (sorry for my bad English :D)

Yeah the Kurds now have their own unofficial gov. Look it up, they have their own elected gov and everything, only problem is there is dispute about the border that runs threw a oil field. I believe Kurdistan will be the newest country soon, good for them. Read "My fathers' Rifle"
