That is one fine guitar you've got there.

@eduardozpn Get a Michael Kelly Patriot Custom. Great guitars regardless of the price.
-
@rthypoo You are correct, they are agathis.
-
Don't standard squier's come with agathis bodies?
-
@Zubirrex you couldn't be more wrong.

I refuse to pay more than $300 for any guitar. It's just a piece of wood with steel strings and magnetic pickups. They all are. Take your time, find one you like. It's that simple.

@HellsHighwayTrooper dude.., don't play blink on a strat... that just fucks up the whole guitar.. stupid powerchords..

How well does it stay in tune, frets? Have you felt the urge to switch out the tuners or bridge or does it need the upgrades? I'm really considering buying one of these.

@homersimps1 I think it keeps in tune as well as any strat can. I haven't felt the need to swap the tuners out.

Probe esta guitarra y una Highway 1 y no note mayores diferencias, excepto en el precio. Compre la Squier.

I agree with that. The Squier is an excellent guitar!

yeah the Standards are amazing I played a stock 2004 Squier Strat and it blew my mind,it sounded better than almost every guitar under $600 Ive ever played, and better than a few $1000 guitars, the pickups were so bright and clear, but thick too,and took heavy heavy drive great, maybe fender USA acidentally sent squier some pickups?lol.

That would be a hoot!! I am impressed and happy with this one. I love the cherryburst against the mint green pickguard. And the tone is just sweet strat.
