PS. Sky and Atmosphere tools in new Blender 2.48 are awesome :P

do you know a tutorial about creating an atmosphere (sky with clouds,....) ?

Clear sky is easy to make.
For clouds you can paint and build a skybox (easier to do and faster rendering) or you can build actual volumetric clouds with particle systems (more complex + long rendering time if you want good quality).
Just google 'blender clouds', 'blender sky' etc. You'll come across some pretty good tutorials.
