It doesn't really matter whether its called fascism, socialism, monarchism, or capitalism or if its just an abusive, domineering, spousal relationship. Totalitarianism is pretty much the bane of human existence, and it doesn't really matter what manifestation it takes.

Actually your view of the US is quite strange. Whenever an opinion poll is done in the world the US is deemed the greatest threat to world peace. So no, no one is looking to the US to "help". As for the handouts in disaster relief or economy support, the US weers between dead last and among the last in the amount given. It is the most agressive war nation that kills or pays others to kill millions of people all over the world and commits war crimes on an almost daily basis.
