TOP CHOICE DJ SELECT ON ALLEN & HEATH XONE 2:02- SCRATCHING

Testing out the PRO X FADER on the Xone 2:02 with some cutting and scratching. It took some time to adjust, but its pretty close to my liking.

you're skills are admirable... Id like to get my scratching skills good enough so that I can enjoy it. what cartridges do you use? and how often do you replace them...

lastly whats a good way to practice basic flares.

@dothedamnthang2 Thanks! I use Shure 447s and Ortofon Qberts. They get replaced when they start to really wear out, dust builds up quicker, tracking isnt as great. It depends how often you use them.

Watch a ton of how to videos and practice all the time. Sometimes scratches are instant, sometimes it takes years. The basics are the most important, just learn to have control of the record at any speed. Its all patterns.

Coming from a Rane mixer it takes some time to get used to but the mixer seems reliable. I`ve noticed tho that when I tested the fader after putting the master volume all the way up and the cross-fader to the other side I would hear a little bit of bleeding. Is this normal?

Yeah its a nice mixer for the price, sounds great and the fader is cool. As far as the fader, Im not sure if thats normal. I think it means the fader is starting to bleed. Ive heard it happens after heavy use with the pro-x-fade. You have to open the mixer and take out the fader to adjust/fix it.
