@m3dion You are correct, most Heavy Metal guitarists used amps like Marshall, Fender, Orange, Matchless, & Vox to name a few. And some would switch Guitars too! But it seems like most SG players with the exception being Clapton, always play SG's!
@pomposo11 The first album, yes, but on Led Zeppelin II, Page started using a Les Paul and pretty much has ever since (through several different amps, though, not just a Marshall).
Drums that sound like cardboard boxes, and a slightly distorted bass tone with bass and guitar churning out that famous vamp on the same notes - all done with an unrushed and deliberate beat from start to finish - what a unique song in rock history. I absolutely LOVE Cream.
Ginger Baker's attitude is his best quality. And his hatred for Jack Bruce. Other than that he's pretty stock when it comes to this band or style. I mean, a 3 year old could play this beat.
anyone know where this gig took place and what year?
